Oh, Professor, Professor, Professor.
I knew there had to be a crack in that armor somewhere.
Being right is sometimes so disappointing...
Ah, well, still early in the game. But alas.

There was once a young man who grew up in the shadow of those around him. Oh yes, he was brilliant, but he always seemed to be overshadowed or unrecognized in favor of others.
This man began to hate everyone around him. He began a war of attrition, of genocide, to validate himself, using words like fear and hatred as a crutch. But even when he ascended into godhood... he was beaten. Beaten by a boy and his little lizard.
It left him broken, and lose between worlds, until he was grabbed through time and brought here.
It was then that he realized what hatred really was... and that he had been holding himself back. That he had been at fault, blaming others his entire life. Yes, he had tried to take it, but at the same time... he never really believed in himself.
He realized that it wasn't justice that gave his enemy the power to defeat him. It was resolve. A simple overwhelming desire.
Love. Devotion. It's merely a personal driving force. What leads to success, this man learned, was the use of one's own skills and pure, unstoppable belief.
And he chose to believe that his hatred was absolute.
My hatred will eclipse their devotion. And even if I fail... they will have lost something that they'll never get back.
I've already won part of this war, Xellos. That is my purpose here.

You may have your hatred, your ambition.
You may have one victory in what amounts to the much larger war.
But.
When your enemy is driven by the power of emotion. When you combat it with technology, with creations...
What do you hope to accomplish, in the end, by serving to amplify that which you must defeat?
It's merely a curiosity, of which you've given me many. My own... "enhancements" included.

Daimon uses his fists. I use my mind.

Let us just say both have their merits. But one's mind, is not just one's ability to THINK...
